TightLines Guide Seat (Low Back / non folding / seat only)

If you're tired of sitting in a puddle after getting in the river or the discomfort from what we affectionally call "Swamp Ass" then this rope seat might be just what you need.  The laced rope design allows you to dry off when sitting while providing lumbar support for when you really need to haul on the sticks. The seat bottom and back can be tensioned independently if desired but I recommend tight lines for carefree reliability. As with any rope seat, re-tensioning of the rope may be necessary after a  break in period. It's easy to do and only takes a few minutes. The design utilizes a low stretch rope to minimize the  frequency of re-tensioning. Some customers weave another cord into their seat for added support  or to add some color.

The seat  measures 20" wide and 10" tall and has the 7-½" X 7" mounting hole pattern used by most. The base can also be  marked and drilled to accommodate any special requirements you may have.

Constructed from ¼" thick  anodized  aluminum and ⅜ diameter rope, this seat is built to last! 

Stainless steel mounting hardware is included. Longer screws will be required if you choose to use a spacer to raise your seat.  5/16-18 stainless steel hardware is what is used and  recommended.

This item is for the seat only.

If you want to make your seat removable, pair it with the Catch and Release Base sold separately. 

If you wish to add a swivel option,  pair it with the Spinner Base sold separately.

Please note, the Catch and Release Bases can be joined together to provide both swivel and quick release function.
