LineLathe

The LineLathe was designed from the ground up to be a universal solution for loading  lines and backing onto fly fishing reels. The primary goal was to create a machine that worked native with Lamson reels and was adaptable to all others with little effort. After several iterations which included  a complete overhaul of the motor, foot pedal, and  gearing, I believe the LineLathe is the fastest and easiest way to load line and backing onto a spool. It really shines when servicing customers reels after a salt water trip. With an optional high capacity 2 piece spool, you can strip the largest spool, clean the line and backing, and re-spool faster than any machine out there, hands down. I understand that this is a commercial grade machine but interested individuals are welcome as well.

I sold a machine directly to Lamson for their kitting needs a little over a year ago. After some  months I received the following from Tim Volk with Lamson Reels.
